My name is Søren Møller Christiansen (Soeren Moeller Christiansen) aka. S MC, Severinus, Sev, Quasquid ... and The SMC of Funen came to life in February 2002.

The name "The SMC of Funen" is made of my initials and the island I live on in Denmark, Funen or Fyn in Danish.

The idea was just to make a small one-paged site to promote the Delta Force community and Delta Force squad =TESF=, The Elite special Forces. But it quickly expanded.
The reason for that is quite simple. This is a one-man-site and I do have other interests than Delta Force, believe it or not, so other things quickly became a part of the site.

I'm just an amateur when it comes to build a website, but I have learned different codings and scripting to make it look and load ok. The world-wide-web has been a great advantage when it comes to help a newbie like me...and thanks for that. There's a lot of people out there doing wonderful things to help others getting started.

Being Danish (and that's why you'll probably find some mis-spelling and incorrect English grammar) I had to have some Danish pages. So that's the strange language and letters you probably will meet on my many different pages.

This is the third generation of The SMC of Funen. The first two was hosted for free on Geocities (Yahoo) but the lack of serverspace and bandwidth quickly became a problem. Also a pop-up on startpage was getting on my nerves.
So I decided to buy some webspace and a new domain. And here it is. This new design is much more user-friendly than the previous ones.

This site is not commercial in any way. It's merely here for people to enjoy and hopefully learn a bit about this, that and the other... So everything is free and nothing requires a membership except for the Top 50 list.
